- 01RoughNatural or lab-grown rough arrives in sealed lots. Each stone is scanned and mapped on Sarine planning systems to find the best yield before any cut is made.
- 02Automated cuttingLaser sawing machines cut each stone along its planned plane. The laser follows the plan exactly, so the saw line is the same on every stone in the lot.
- 03PolishingAutomatic polishing machines place the table, crown and pavilion facets on the scaife, stone after stone, to the proportions set in the plan.
- 04Final stoneA finished round double cut white, sorted by sieve from +00‑0 to -6 and returned to you as a polished lot, ready for setting.

Which sieve sizes do you polish?
The full range from +00‑0 to -6 sieve, about 1.00–1.70 mm. -2 goods, up to about 1.25 mm, are our main production. Lots are sieved and returned to the ranges you specify.
What does "-2" mean for melee diamonds?
"-2" describes small round diamonds that pass through sieve plate number 2, about 1.25 mm and below. They are used for pavé, halos and eternity bands.
Do you polish lab-grown diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown CVD and HPHT rough runs through the same Sarine planning, laser sawing and automatic polishing stations as natural goods, always in separate lots.
How does job-work with SK Facets work?
You send an enquiry with stone type, sieve range and lot size, and we agree terms. Your rough is received, scanned and planned on Sarine systems, laser-sawn, polished on automatic machines, sieved to your ranges and shipped back as a polished lot.
